Nature has a way of calming the spirit. It invites us to relax, encouraging stillness and an opportunity for self-reflection.
Similar to mother nature with its diversity of weather events, and the ability to change from sunny day to stormy at an instant, so too are our emotions. In the same way an earthquake could trigger a tsunami, outside influences can effect how we feel and perceive ourselves, and our environment. If we investigate to uncover the things that trigger those uncomfortable or hurtful emotions within us, we are able to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, and greater control over what we allow to effect us. Acceptance and acknowledgement of our emotions is important for personal growth and development. Feel it, learn from it, and let it go. It is more beneficial to seek inner peace than it is to attempt to emulate constant positivity. Do you agree? How do you deal with intense emotions? Comment below.
